Admissions Arrangements

School Visits for Potential Parents.

If you have a child who will be due to start school in September 2021, it's time to start looking for the school that’s right for you and your child.  Your application needs to be submitted by 15th January 2021.  All the information you need is here https://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/children-and-learning/school-application-guides.  You will then need to apply online here - https://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/apply-school-place.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions, visits to the school will be limited this year but please do take a look at our website and our YouTube channel to get a flavour of what it like to be part of the St. Bartholomew’s CE Primary School community.  We hate not being able to welcome people into our warmly inclusive school!

We are, however, offering some visits to school.  The spaces on these are strictly limited and we will only be able to show you the spaces our Reception Class and our other outside spaces, rather than the whole school at this time.  There are 4 spaces on each visit and we ask that only adults visit.  All visits start at 9.30am and will last for 30 minutes.  Please book quickly to avoid disappointments -  dates are as follows:

21st October

4th 12th 18th 26th November

3rd 7th December

13th January

If you would like to attend one of these visits, please contact our Pupil Services Manager, Miss Charlton, who will book you in – she will need the full name and contact number of each person visiting.  You can either call the school on 01273 692463 or email via the school office admin@st-bartholomews.brighton-hove.sch.uk.  When you do visit you will need to wear a mask and follow our hygiene procedures.  If you do not book, we will not be able to show you round.

If you cannot attend any of the visits, please contact Miss Charlton who should be able to arrange an alternative visit with you.

On Wednesday 2nd December, all prospective parents are invited to a meeting to find out a bit more about the school.  There will be short presentation from the headteacher and the Reception Class teacher, followed by a chance to ask questions.  We should also be able to offer tours of the Reception space too.  The meeting will start at 6.30pm and you will need to book to attend.  This is strictly for adults – please book your space through Miss Charlton as above.  She will need your full name and contact details.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us – we look forward to welcoming you to our school.
